Effective 22 October 2026Privacy, simply.
BPlayer is developed by Bohdan Rabaniuk. This policy covers the public Mac and iPhone apps and these support pages.
Your media stays yours
The app stores its library and preferences on your device and accesses files or folders you choose. There is no developer-hosted media library, advertising, tracking, analytics SDK or BPlayer account. Diagnostic messages stay in local system logs; the app does not upload them to us.
Private sharing
BShare sends selected ordinary HOME media and playback information directly to devices you approve on your local network. Pairing uses a device name, cryptographic identity and invitation. Encrypted playlists are excluded. Device trust and keys remain on your devices; you can revoke a device in BShare. No public relay or media server is operated by us.
Purchases and trial
Apple processes purchases under its policies. BPlayer verifies StoreKit transactions on the device and stores access status, the original trial date and expiry information securely in Keychain. We do not receive your Apple Account password or card details. Deleting the app does not restart a previously activated trial under the same Apple Account.
Support and this website
If you email support, we receive the email address, message and attachments you choose to send and use them to respond. Send only what is needed, never passwords. These static pages contain no analytics or advertising scripts. Cloudflare hosts them and may process connection information for delivery and security under its privacy policy.
Your choices
You can remove media, unlink folders, revoke shared devices and change Local Network access. Linked originals stay in their chosen folders when removed from BPlayer. Contact bohdan.workingpost@gmail.com for privacy questions or deletion of support correspondence. Apple manages purchase records and refund requests.
Changes
